Biog

Based in Sheffield, First Pocket Last were originally brought together in 2005 through a mix of old school friends and former band mates. Dean had bumped into Ian on a night out and shortly after started jamming, within a short period of time they found that this could be the start of something. Ian called previous band mates Matt and Kev. Initially it was a very strange mix of personalities with everything that could go wrong, going wrong! It didn’t help that they were practicing in an old green shed.

Within a short amount of time they found they were producing some first class original songs. Their mix of modern day English rock n’ roll with a twist of funk and grunge First Pocket Last show their collective 60’s come 90’s influences, that include The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, Stone Roses and Ocean Colour Scene.

Over the last 3 years the band have continued to develop and are now considered a force to be reckoned with. In a climate of electro style rock/pop, First Pocket Lasts sharp lyrics and catchy riffs will have you tapping your feet and leave you wanting more while leaving a refreshing taste in your mouth. Live is where they are most comfortable and best heard and they can currently be found gigging around weird and wonderful parts of Yorkshire and Derbyshire.
